Shaggy 2 Dope, of Insane Clown Posse, has released another installment of his online “Shaggy Show.” What I’ve learned from it is that there are few things in life more precious than watching Shaggy, in full Wicked Clown makeup, dramatically lip-synching Hulk Hogan’s sappy old “Hulkster in Heaven” song.

Click here to download the 40 meg MPEG file, part 2 of 3 of the shows to be filmed during ICP’s current tour. Scroll to about 7:40 in the file for Hulkamaniac goodness.

Click here for the previous installment, featuring Violent J giving the same treatment to J. Geils Band’s “Centerfold.”

This Mother’s Day cartoon may well make you cry. Americans need not panic, though, because that toon was made for the UK’s Mother’s Day, which is March 30th. In the US we have until May.

Hopefully I can get some actual work done tonight on the several hundred unfinished projects I have sitting around the house.

This entry has been edited for no good reason at all, which was why it was posted in the first place. Think of it as the FBI guns in my “E.T.” of a journal.

Any ostensibly grown man who refers to any mall, let alone the grimiest dirt-mall in the ghetto armpit of Long Island, as “hallowed ground” is a bit suspect anyway. Hey, if that’s your idea of hallowed ground, you can have it. Just don’t forget to wear your kevlar vest and biohazard suit.

The march went well. Check out the Indymedia reports.

I just posted a rambling message to Cal’s Forums on exactly why I go to protests.

Now, sleep.

I’m ashamed of my government, and a bit disappointed in the world in general.

…How many “lists” do you suppose posting that gets me on?

Come to think of it, there is really no point in being dissatisfied with the state of things unless you’re willing to get out there and do something about it. As they said way back when the Pope told the masses not to use the Birth Control Pill, “Hey Mista Pope-a, you no play-a the game, you no make-a the rules, capisce?”

So… amazingly huge peace march in midtown Manhattan tomorrow. Anyone want to go with, or meet up there? If so, email me sometime today.

If you’re just curious, you might be able to catch some images of people assembling from maybe around 10:30 AM to noon (EST) on the Times Square Earthcams.

Today has been the most useless day I’ve had in a while. I slept through most of it just so I wouldn’t notice the migraine, and found out I’m working straight through the weekend. I’m sure I’ll enjoy the paycheck for this 60-hour work week, it’s just the actual work I’m going to hate.

More importantly, though, I get the sneaking suspicion I’ve been a lousy friend lately. I have had a couple of promised favors hanging in the air for a while, and I’ve been seriously out of touch. And, I’ve just spent the last day off I’ll have for a long while being as useful as Michael Bolton.

Please enjoy the national flag & anthem of Zimbabwe.
Don’t say that I don’t give ya anything.
Love, Mommy

Fact: I’m on the record as being anti-war in general, and against the brewing war in Iraq in particular.

Fact: I have friends who feel the same way as I, and who feel differently.

Fact: Disagreeing with my friends on points like this doesn’t affect how I see them, they’re still the same people I chose to hang around with in the first place. You all still rock, either way!

Fact: If everyone felt the same way about everything, friendship would be a big waste of time. So would life, for that matter.

Fact: I have attended anti-war functions in the past, and will continue to do so.

Fact: I don’t attend them in order to change, shape, or convert other people to my way of thinking. I’m nobody’s mother. I simply feel strongly enough on the matter to want to publicly declare my support for the cause of peace, hopefully in a manner which will be heard by the general public, and those in control who are meant to speak and act partially on my behalf.

Fact: No matter how you look at it, the whole “Freedom Fries” fiasco is both funny and sad. Do Freedom Fries come with a side of Crimethink Crackers slathered in Orwellmalade? You could always call up the restaurant and ask.
