b3ta's question of the week is, "Have you ever been rude to a celebrity?"

For that I rehashed the time I was very rude to Kylie Minogue.

I don't like Kylie Minogue.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the "Principles of Wiccan Belief" by the Council of American Witches.

The Council was a group of 73 representatives from different Wiccan traditions, which had united at a Pagan event called the "Witches' Meet" for the purpose of agreeing upon a representation of what Wicca is (and is not) to a world full of misconceptions and prejudice against them.

Wicca is a very eclectic set of belief systems, and these principles are by no means "gospel," but they are guidelines of a sort.  More importantly, they serve as a condensed version of what Wicca is all about, easily understandable to the outside world.
