I probably shouldn't find this email as funny as I do...

My friend Tammy tasted negative.  My deepest thanks to all who sent good wishes and energy her way.

In neat news, my partner in crime Grey and I have a super-cool mysterious new project going on.

The family and I tried to see I, Robot last night.  It was sold out, so we ended up seeing Day After Tomorrow.

Short review: very nice FX, interesting concepts.. but the storyline made me want to poke the writers with watermelon rinds.  No movie throws a sappy teenage romance, trite redemption of a strained father/son relationship, portrayal of Dick Cheney as president, a brace of doomed stiff-upper-lip Englishmen spending their final moments stoically sharing a scotch and cheering Manchester football, a wisecracking homeless guy teaching everyone else survival tricks and wisdom learned on the streets, and a completely gratuitous young boy with cancer at me and lives!

The wolves were neat, though.  And the fact that disaster flicks have at long last become comfortable with destroying New York City again is really heartwarming for me.

Everyone loves Magical Trevor!

A good friend of mine named Tammy is being tested for lung cancer on Monday.

I don't ask favors of you blog readers very often, but pleae send good wishes, healing energy, prayer, whatever forms of positivity you are comfortable working with to her and her family.
