Antediluvian media!
One last thing before I go. My dear old mother, while doing some of her geneaological researchiculating, came across this link to a Brooklyn newspaper from 1898.
It's a fun read if you stick with it, the wrting style as well as the look at what was newsworthy in the past are well worth it.
