Quick update:

Lightsabers NYC was a blast, I can't wait for the next one.

We couldn't get an official PLA panel together in time for Hackers On Planet Earth this year, but I have it on good authority that something vaguely PLA-ish will indeed happen. If nothing else, we may get another elevator chorus going. Stay tuned for shadowy details.

These people are having a free screening of The Warriors, one of my favorite movies ever, in Coney Island on August 2nd. Who's coming with?

I love Grey Frequency!

She's my best friend in the world, she's been with me through thick and thin, and she is such a joy to have in my life. She honors the world with her presence.

Of course, I always feel that way. I'm shouting it from my soapbox in the lower strata of the blogosphere at this particular point in time because she just helped me with something major, and I feel the world needs a reminder.

My partner in crime, sister from another mother, stellar guidance counselor, sidekick, fan, hero, cohort, teacher, student, and platonic life partner rocks.

B3ta, one of my favorite sites ever, holds a question of the week in which users share their funniest, most poignant, and most disturbing answers to whatever the week's topic is, with the best being featured in the following week's issue of the newsletter.

This week, the question is "What body parts are you missing?" The responses so far range from funny to gruesome to serious Darwin award material.

Mine's about my hair, complete with GIF slideshow.
