This is what I've been screwing around with the past few weeks.

The content isn't too bad for starters, and I'm reasonably proud of that layout (which validates!) but the stylesheet is buggy as crap in IE6. Perhaps I shall decide that is a feature. :-P

But I look terrible in pink.

You have been gifted with special talents and abilities. These are an honor, but also a burden. Throughout your life many people will come to you for help. Some will be your friends. Some will be your enemies. Some will be total strangers to you. When deciding whether to help these people remember that you have a responsibility to leave the world a better place than it was when you found it. Remember also that when you show kindness to others, you will often inspire in them a desire to pass on the good will.

Words to read

Rob @ 10:06 PM

I've discovered a new columnist in my local paper, and find her words very illuminating and insightful.

Lauren Terrazzano is a Newsday staff writer who was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago. In her new column she writes about her life with cancer and life in general. If, like me, you know or have known far too many people who battle this disease for better or for worse, you may find her writing as interesting as I do.
