Happy Halloween! Blessed Samhain!

Today’s the Parade. I’m really psyched. Look for the axe-wielding, face-painted, green-haired juggalo in a black and purple cloak!

I held off on announcing this for a while… Katrina is moving in with me. I’ve got a roomie!

Here’s a tidbit for anyone into Astrology, regarding a major upcoming event.

Where to begin?

Katrina’s been spending more and more time over, which rocks. Things are going really well for us. I was sort of surprised when I checked this very blog and found we’ve only been together for two months.

She abandoned her blog, by the way. My fault for linking it.

I miss the folks who’ve fallen out of touch. Call me! Email me! Send a carrier pigeon!

Apologies to Sealab fans, I really will update my Sealab site soon. It’s on the back burner just now.

I’ve grown a silly beard, for my Violent J ensemble on Halloween. I really hate having facial hair, but this is for Halloween, dammit!

I figured I’d archive it, since it’s not very likely I’ll be keeping this for very long.

Mein butterchurner ist gestohlen!

On Thursday I’ll bleach the beard out. On Friday I’ll gunk my hair chartreuse, and do the rest of the makeup. My outfit will consist of a black and purple Death cloak, with some Psychopathic additions. I’ll try and do a test run soon, and post some pictures.

Which reminds me. My webcam is now hooked to Marlene, my new computer. Marlene is a lovely AMD Athlon XP 2000+ running at a gig and two-thirds, coupled with an ASUS A7N266 DDR Motherboard with 224 megs of RAM and an nVidia GeForce 2 onboard. She was Katrina’s, but I adopted her since Katrina’s upgrade to a charming system called Marduk.

I stole this quizlet from Venadium

Pick a band and answer only using that band’s song titles: Information Society

Are you a male or female?: Charlie X
Describe yourself: Where the I Divides
How do some people feel about you?: Are ‘Friends’ Electric?
How do you feel about yourself?: Still Here
Describe your interests: Hack 1
Where would you rather be?: To The City
Describe what you want to be: To Be Free
Describe how you live: Where Would I Be Without IBM
Describe how you love: If It’s Real

That was harder than I thought it’d be. It’s rough narrowing everything down to one song title.

So, it looks like the preliminary list of folks (subject to change) going with us to the Halloween Parade goes something like:

  • Myself
  • Fina
  • Enamon
  • I-Ball
  • Venadium
  • Murd0c
  • Exangel
  • That Guy Matt
  • Bob Brown

This parade shall rock muchly! I’ve been looking forward to this since immediately after last year’s parade. I remember brainstorming with Fina on the train ride home, and getting the first ideas for our costumes for this year.

Anyone else who wants to go with or meet up there, email me!

Hey, a journal. Perhaps I’ll give it a post.

The 2600 meeting was fun as always. I finally introduced Katrina to the wonders of the Hacker Halfway House, and we didn’t get home until about three in the afternoon the next day. We also hung with the mighty Murd0c, rockin’ a red mohawk and an attitude to match, who left us early to check out a punk fest.

Enamon’s digital camera won’t connect to my PC.

Being open about my religion at my job isn’t turning out as rough as I thought it might be.

Katrina has spent a few weekends over, and has shared in the glory that is my pathetic town.

I haven’t seen most of my other friends for a long time. Hopefully that’ll change soon.

My current Halloween costume plan for the parade is Violent J face paint, yellow hair spray, a bloody axe, and an angel outfit with wings and halo.

This blog will be a year old on the 26th.
