It ain’t much going on but that’s where I belong
Because some of them days be shiny diamonds,

Heaven, I’m in.

If there’s one annoying thing about blogs, it’s the tendency for them to devolve into a bunch of drivel involving the blogger’s cats.

That said, please enjoy some photos of my cat Stinky making love to his favorite stuffed animal.

... ... ... ...

Kitty porn! You know you love it.

As much as I don’t like her singing, I think I may have just become a Lauryn Hill fan.

I just learned from Venadium’s blog thet they’re making a “Garfield” movie. The trailer has just killed my good mood. Why must they keep killing perfectly decent cartoon characters by mutating them into live-action movies??? Cartoons are cartoons for a reason.

Simple math:

  • “Grinch” cartoon = good, “Grinch” movie = bad.
  • “Cat in the Hat” cartoon = good, “Cat in the Hat” movie = bad.
  • “Scooby Doo…” okay, crap either way.

I have a crawling suspicion the plot of “Garfield” will involve jewel thieves or bank robbers.

In other news, Grey Frequency continues to rock.

So, US forces appear to have captured Saddam.

My pal Arbie said it best..

“With Saddam captured, the world is now completely safe from terrorists and suicide bombers! Oh wait, no it’s not.”

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to just pick a direction and start walking, leaving all my cares and worries behind me, not knowing what’s ahead. Then I remember that I live on an island.

Since my gig at the arcade company has been dramatically cut down, I tried my hand at working at a gas station for two days. I learned that it’s really hard for me to both work at a place like that and enjoy being alive, so I’m not going back.

Job search continues.

Katrina is now an official New Yorker, with an ID and everything.

Her trip to Texas was postponed for a bit.

Also, I’ve started an NES rom hack. It’s a really useless hack of the original Super Mario Brothers, and I’ve changed half the graphics. I don’t know if I want to stop at just graphics replacement, or actually mess with the maps or gameplay.

I’ve got a couple of new quiz results up.

Pod-Six is jerks!

Friday was a very thin 2600 meeting. View some of the more useless activities Murd0c captured on video, on his site.

If you’re reading this, you’ve found my site’s new home! My years on Kracked were great, but those doors have been closed. However, Micah (the Kracked master) was a great host for a long time, and put up with a lot from me, and it was and is very much appreciated. Stay cool, Micah!

Now, I have the rocktastic Calimar to thank for my web space. Woo! And again, woo!

Additionally, I’ve split my “Sealab 2021″ page off of my personal site. It now resides at http://pod-six.net, and I have lots of good stuff planned for it in future.

The only downside… the move has caused it to lose its Google status as the #1 Sealab site (not counting the official one.) Ah well, I can now set my sights on reclaiming that title…
