Even in the purely scifi-nerd areas, Second Life can get even weirder than First Life some evenings.

So I was just thinking to myself, “Self, know what would be cool?”

“What’s that, Self?” I responded politely.

“A Saturday night environmental activist party, featuring a fashion show on the theme of undergarments made from trash!” I beamed. “That’d probably be 31 flavors of awesome, would it not, Self?”

“Self, my old buddy,” I retorted, “I’ve got just the thing.”

So after the 2600 meeting Grey and Kymus came back to my place and crashed for the weekend.

They unfortunately had to deal with me being more than a bit emotional over having my oldest cat put to sleep. (See previous post.)

Thankfully, they were a great help in keeping me from losing it more than I needed to, and I got to subject them to one of my favorite movies and some other cool stuff.

But, I’m insomniac now, and trying desperately to somehow get enough sleep to go to work in a few hours.

NYC2600.net is now listed on 2600’s site, gaining that last bit of official blessing.

The frogurt is also cursed.
