Muppetational May 2025 day 16 – a Jim Henson character (on the anniversary of Jim’s passing)

Marker drawing of "Sesame Street" character Captain Vegetable. He is a lavender rabbit Muppet with big rabbit-like ears, whiskers, and front teeth, a head of wild orange hair, and a green superhero costume with a carrot insignia on his chest and a green cape draped over his shoulders. He clenches a carrot and a bundle of celery in his hands, while screaming the comic-style text, "Do I look like a weirdo?". The drawing is signed with my "RV" signature glyph and dated 5-16-25. The pink, light and dark orange, yellow, purple, three shades of green, red, and black markers used to draw the image rest on the table surrounding the card.

When it came time to choose any character performed by Jim Henson himself, I decided to choose a deep cut from an early Sesame Street sketch about healthy eating with which Gila and I are a bit extra obsessed.
