The Commodore PET (Personal Electronic Translator) was a bit of a discontinued fossil by the time I got onto the scene, but I always really loved its design. In my mind that was how a computer should look.

I loved the name, too; cats and dogs were neat, but what child of the 1980s didn't want their own "pet" computer to play with? For this image I decided to run a bit further with that idea.
